Join AFA On December 3rd For Their Virtual Year-End Update: Where we’ve been & what’s next for BC’s old-growth forests
Mark your calendar! We’re hosting a Year-End Update on the evening of Thursday, December 3rd, online via Zoom (time TBA).
2020 has been an eventful year for the ancient forest campaign. With new scientific evidence on the dire state of BC’s old-growth forests and the NDP’s election promise to implement all of their independent panel’s recommendations, we should expect to see big changes for old-growth in 2021. But the battle is far from over.
Join us for a one-hour webinar to hear more about these developments, learn what AFA is doing to make immediate old-growth protection a top priority for the NDP government, and to celebrate all we’ve achieved together this past year.
The event will feature a slideshow presentation from AFA campaigners TJ Watt and Andrea Inness on where we’ve been in 2020 and what’s next for BC’s ancient forests, a Q&A session on all things old-growth, and the chance to connect with the AFA team.
Please save the date and stay tuned for details in the coming weeks!
